Celebrating 65 years of Bobath Therapy

This year we are celebrating 65 years of our charity and on 14 July 2022, hosted a reception for many of our friends and supporters.

Held  in The Churchill Room, at the House of Commons. Our CEO, Madeleine Cassidy, gave a speech to honour our legacy, outline our plan for the future and give special thanks to our friends and supporters who helped celebrate with us.

It was great to see so many people who have worked with, or received treatment from us in the past and present. During the afternoon we launched our #MOVEforCP policy and campaigning framework and were thrilled to pass 1,000 signatures on our petition #freetherapyforCP.

Now, we plan to continue to build on the Bobaths’ legacy by supporting growing numbers of babies, children and adults with cerebral palsy to reach their potential in life. As we shape our charity for the future, we have developed ambitious plans to expand our services. Our plans include offering new services and activities to meet the needs of our cerebral palsy community; including a range of online services, annual reviews and counselling as well as undertaking research and campaigning.
